The Oisans

The Oisans is an area of outstanding natural beauty which
includes the Ecrins National Park and the two famous
mountain ski resorts of
Alpe d'Huez and
Les Deux Alps.
In the summer the area is fantastic for
mountain
biking and
road
cycling. You can also hike, climb, white water raft, kayak and swim, and
there are also loads of kids activities.
The
Tour de France and the
Marmotte bicycle touring race
have made it into a cycling mecca and now with the
Megavalanche, the
Mountain of Hell and also Ride Oisans it is
soon to become a mountain bike mecca as well.
Enjoy Oisans is run out of the market town of
Bourg d'Oisans right in the
centre of this fantastic mountain range.
